Should I give my baby a dummy?

I get asked SO many questions about dummies, whether parents should introduce one, if they are helpful, the drawbacks of them, and the million dollar question… how to get rid of them?

Lots of parents are unsure whether to introduce a dummy, some feel strongly that they won’t but end up giving one during the new born days and then become anxious about how to get rid of it.

When working with families to improve sleep removing the dummy is one of the biggest anxieties I see, parents often want to ditch the dummy but feel their little one just CAN’T sleep without it… however, in my experience babies are capable of a lot more than we give them credit.
